Ampthill Festival 2010

Theme: 'Lets Party'- Celebrating 30 Years of Ampthill Festival

Gala Day - Sunday 27th June 2010
Ampthill Park Proms - Saturday 26th June 2010
Friday Rocks - Friday 25th June 2010

Ampthill Festival is 30 years old this year! So as you can expect, it will be even better! There are the old favourites such as the Frog Racing, Quiz Night, etc. but there are also new events like the Progressive Supper, a Rock Night in the Park, a Wine Tasting evening and Open Gardens Day for all Ampthill Gardeners.

Following the huge success of the first Ampthill Proms in the Park, this year’s evening (June 26th) promises to be even bigger and better. It will certainly be very popular, so keep your eyes on the local press and on local shop posters and flyers for details about ticket sales.

Friday Rocks is a new event which guarantees to set Ampthill Park really rocking! This is on Friday evening 25th June and again you will need to get to the tickets fast before they all go.

Open Gardens Day is your chance to show off your garden to the public. Your garden doesn’t have to be big, beautiful or immaculate, just interesting! The proposed opening day is the afternoon of Sunday 4 July and the only stipulation is that you are a resident of Ampthill. If you are interested and would like more details, please contact Angie Murdoch on 01525 403076 (mobile 07736 452131) or email to angie.murdoch@virgin.net

Sunday 26th June is the traditional Festival Parade through town, ending at Ampthill Park where there will be lots of fun-filled rides and entertainment for all the family. Don’t miss it!
